Businesses Win Over Employees In Major Arbitration Case

The United States Supreme Court just ruled Monday that employers can require employees to sign mandatory arbitration agreements that preclude them from filing class action lawsuits. This will likely lead more employers to begin using or expanding the use of mandatory arbitration agreements with their employees to prevent them from filing collective or class action claims and require employees to resolve their individual disputes in arbitration rather than in court before a jury.
