The second seminar will address:

  • Applicability of laws protecting disaster-relief workers
  • Termination of employees unable or unwilling to return when your business reopens
  • To pay or not to pay employees when the business is closed, or to charge employees’ PTO accounts
  • Business interruption insurance may not be as safe a harbor as you think

Subsequent seminars on other topics will be held on the fourth Tuesday and Thursday of each month in June, September and October. The series covers key areas employers are coping with in today’s workforce, including overtime compensation, the protection of intellectual property, non-compete agreements, employee handbooks and training, and disaster preparedness and how it affects your workplace and employees.
